Recently in a meeting with his cabinet, Uddhav Thackeray made claims to resign again. On the other hand, Deepak Kesarkar has requested that Uddhav Thackeray should accept defeat and form a coalition with the Bharatiya Janata Party.
These claims have been made after Shiv Sena's prominent member, Eknath Shinde, fled to Guwahati with a team of rebel MLAs. It is speculated that Eknath Shinde might be supported by BJP to take this rebellious step.
